For the past two years, Sacramento has hosted a mural festival. This past August they invited international and local artists to work with building owners to produce these murals. There isn’t always agreement, one business owner painted over a mural two days after it was created.
I joined a Meetup group to walk around downtown and view the murals. Meetup groups have been a great way to engage with people while I travel.
